Arctostaphylos Pungens, or more commonly know as Pointleaf Manzanita, is a shrub subshrub with dark green foliage and white flowers of the genus Arctostaphylos. It has a slow growth rate and a height of 12 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It's active growth period is spring, blooms during late winter, is somewhat tolerant of shade and is routinely available commercially.
