Two-Wing Silverbell (Halesia Diptera)
Halesia Diptera, or more commonly know as Two-Wing Silverbell, is a tree shrub with green foliage and white flowers of the genus Halesia. It has a moderate growth rate and a height of 15 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It’s active growth period is spring, blooms during spring and is somewhat tolerant of shade. Halesia Diptera or Two-Wing Silverbell‘s floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina and Texas.
