Carex Trisperma, or more commonly know as Threeseeded Sedge, is a graminoid with green foliage and green flowers of the genus Carex. It has a moderate growth rate and a height of 1.9 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It’s active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during late spring, is tolerant of shade and is routinely available commercially. Carex Trisperma or Threeseeded Sedge‘s floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Virginia, Vermont and Wisconsin.
