Summer Grape (Vitis Aestivalis)

Vitis Aestivalis, or more commonly know as Summer Grape, is a vine with green foliage and green flowers of the genus Vitis. It has a rapid growth rate and a height of 30 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It’s active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during late spring, is tolerant of shade and is routinely available commercially. Vitis Aestivalis or Summer Grape‘s floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Vermont and Wisconsin.
