Spanish Moss (Tillandsia Usneoides)
Tillandsia Usneoides, or more commonly know as Spanish Moss, is a forb/herb vine with white-gray foliage and white flowers of the genus Tillandsia. It has a slow growth rate. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It’s active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during late summer, is tolerant of shade and is routinely available commercially. Tillandsia Usneoides or Spanish Moss‘s floral region is North America US Lower 48, Puerto Rico and The Virgin Islands, specifically in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas and Virginia.
