Carex Leporinella, or more commonly know as Sierra Hare Sedge, is a graminoid of the genus Carex. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. Carex Leporinella or Sierra Hare Sedge‘s floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
