Sarvis Holly (Ilex Amelanchier)
Ilex Amelanchier, or more commonly know as Sarvis Holly, is a tree shrub with green foliage and yellow flowers of the genus Ilex. It has a slow growth rate and a height of 16 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It’s active growth period is spring, blooms during mid spring and is tolerant of shade. Ilex Amelanchier or Sarvis Holly‘s floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina and South Carolina.
