Sacred Bamboo (Nandina Domestica)
Nandina Domestica, or more commonly know as Sacred Bamboo, is a shrub with green foliage and white flowers of the genus Nandina. It has a rapid growth rate and a height of 8 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It’s active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during early summer and is tolerant of shade. Nandina Domestica or Sacred Bamboo‘s floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas and Virginia.
