Prickly Sedge (Carex Spicata)

Carex Spicata, or more commonly know as Prickly Sedge, is a graminoid of the genus Carex. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. Carex Spicata or Prickly Sedge‘s floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia, Vermont and Wisconsin.
