Koeleria Macrantha, or more commonly know as Prairie Junegrass, is a graminoid with green foliage and yellow flowers of the genus Koeleria. It has a rapid growth rate and a height of 1.5 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It’s active growth period is spring and fall, blooms during late spring and is tolerant of shade.
