Carex Plantaginea, or more commonly know as Plantainleaf Sedge, is a graminoid of the genus Carex. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. Carex Plantaginea or Plantainleaf Sedge‘s floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Alabama, Connecticut, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Vermont and Wisconsin.
