Pennisetum Glaucum, or more commonly know as Pearl Millet, is a graminoid with green foliage and yellow flowers of the genus Pennisetum. It has a rapid growth rate and a height of 6 feet at maturity. Its duration is annual which means it grows for one season only. It’s active growth period is summer, blooms during mid summer and is intolerant of shade.
