Betula Populifolia, or more commonly know as Gray Birch, is a tree with green foliage and green flowers of the genus Betula. It has a rapid growth rate and a height of 40 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It’s active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during mid spring and is intolerant of shade. Betula Populifolia or Gray Birch‘s floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia and Vermont.
