Gilia Beardtongue (Penstemon Ambiguus)
Penstemon Ambiguus, or more commonly know as Gilia Beardtongue, is a subshrub forb/herb of the genus Penstemon. It’s duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. Penstemon Ambiguus or Gilia Beardtongue‘s floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah and Wyoming.
