Giant Taro (Alocasia Macrorrhizos)
Alocasia Macrorrhizos, or more commonly know as Giant Taro, is a forb/herb (a forb/herb is a non-woody plant that is not a grass) of the genus Alocasia. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. Alocasia Macrorrhizos or Giant Taro‘s floral region is North America US Lower 48, Hawaii and Puerto Rico, specifically in the states of Florida, Hawaii and Texas.
