Confederate Jasmine (Trachelospermum Jasminoides)
Trachelospermum Jasminoides, or more commonly know as Confederate Jasmine, is a vine with dark green foliage and orange flowers of the genus Trachelospermum. It has a rapid growth rate and a height of 2 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It’s active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during early summer and is somewhat tolerant of shade. Trachelospermum Jasminoides or Confederate Jasmine‘s floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Florida and Louisiana.
