Caucasian Bluestem (Bothriochloa Bladhii)

Bothriochloa Bladhii, or more commonly know as Caucasian Bluestem, is a graminoid with green foliage and yellow flowers of the genus Bothriochloa. It has a rapid growth rate and a height of 3 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It’s active growth period is summer, blooms during mid summer and is intolerant of shade. Bothriochloa Bladhii or Caucasian Bluestem‘s floral region is North America US Lower 48 and Hawaii, specifically in the states of Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.
