Bog Muhly (Muhlenbergia Uniflora)
Muhlenbergia Uniflora, or more commonly know as Bog Muhly, is a graminoid with green foliage and yellow flowers of the genus Muhlenbergia. It has a moderate growth rate and a height of 1.2 feet at maturity. Its duration is perennial which means it will grow year after year. It’s active growth period is spring and summer, blooms during mid summer, is intolerant of shade and is routinely available commercially. Muhlenbergia Uniflora or Bog Muhly‘s floral region is North America US Lower 48, specifically in the states of Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont and Wisconsin.
